Having worked with the Oreon Partners team since 2009, Andrew was promoted to Manager with the firm in 2018. Known for being approachable and available, Andrew takes a genuine interest in clients’ businesses and lives and has a reputation for following matters through to achieve the best possible outcomes for both his clients and his team.
Andrew worked as an accountant with McCormack Reynolds prior to joining the Oreon Partners team, and his expertise includes skills in all areas of tax and accounting including tax planning, tax advice, setting up new entities and structures.
Cloud accounting is a particularly strong area of Andrew’s professional focus and he is proficient in a wide range of software programs including Xero, Futrli, Vend, Kounta, Deputy, MYOB and more. He helps clients use these tools to provide real-time business reporting, forecasting and budgeting.

He has maintained many long-term client relationships by becoming involved with their businesses, which can mean driving to regional destinations, getting out on fishing boats or even lending a hand to muster cattle. Chris gets great satisfaction out of understanding his clients’ needs and delivering solutions that help them achieve positive outcomes.
Having lengthy experience as a Director of a large mid-tier accounting practice prior to joining the Oreon team, Chris possesses a broad range of skills in all aspects of tax, general business management and corporate governance matters. Advising to business owners in a wide range of industries, he specialises in family business – but particularly in agribusiness, professional services and high net worth individuals. He demonstrates strong technical skills and has an ability to explain complex concepts in practical, simple terms.
Prior to qualifying as an accountant, John managed small businesses in the UK for more than 10 years, so he knows first-hand about the real-world issues affecting business owners. John joined Oreon Partners in 2016 and works particularly with businesses in the hospitality industry, due to his experience of working with multiple bars and restaurants in the UK.
John is part of a new generation of accountants, who specialise in cloud based solutions, particularly cloud accounting software, which he can integrate easily and efficiently. This means business owners can quickly take advantage of real-time data to support their growth strategies.
With an extremely proactive approach to working with clients, John assists with business planning and making business improvements in operational areas that are often overlooked.
Since 2012, John has been the Treasurer of South Australia’s downhill mountain bike club, Inside Line where he has introduced cloud accounting to ensure up to the minute reporting and simplification of volunteers data entry. John plans on using the club as a leading example to help other Australian Not For Profits entities manage their accounting and reporting responsibilities.

Peter started his accounting career at a small accounting firm in Adelaide, then joined a mid-tier accounting firm in 2007 before moving to Oreon Partners when it was established in 2014.
Working with many clients in different industries, Peter has specialised in the medical profession, as well as businesses involved in property eg. builders, developers, investors and related industries involving trades people.
Peter is resourceful, efficient and able to think outside of the box, which means he can view a problem from many different perspectives. This is a skill which serves him well when working with such a diverse client base. All his work delivers exceptional results to clients.
Outside of work, Peter is the Treasurer of a charity called Lolly Jar Circus, which offers circus training and performance opportunities to young people, including those with physical or intellectual disabilities or who are socially disadvantaged.
Peter has many areas of focus including tax planning, tax advice and tax effective accounting; and helping clients set up new entities and structures. Through dealing with many clients involved in rental properties, Peter is also very knowledgeable on investment and rental properties.
Annabel qualified as an accountant in 1991 and joined Oreon Partners when it was established in 2014 after working in two other accounting firms for over 20 years.

After finishing University in 2001, Jess completed further study and became a Chartered Accountant in 2004. During this time, Jess worked in a mid-tier accounting practice before moving to Oreon Partners when they were established in 2014.

Peter Telford has over 30 years of practical experience and was a director at one of Adelaide’s largest mid-tier accounting practices for nearly 25 years before he co-founded Oreon Partners in 2014. His extensive experience in taxation, superannuation and asset protection allows him to provide expert advice and assistance to a broad range of clients. Peter’s real-world understanding of business needs is further enhanced by the fact that he also holds roles of Director and Chairman on the boards of several unlisted family-owned companies.
Peter maintains a strong focus on business strategies and wealth creation, using investments and property syndication. Clients value his assistance across a broad range of needs including business succession planning and the buying and selling of businesses and property.

Ben Reynolds established his own accounting practice in 2002.
The practical experience in establishing his own business has enabled Ben to grow with many of his clients, and to share important business knowledge and insights.
