As someone who was always great at working with numbers and in a team environment, Annabel’s choice of a career in accounting was natural (plus, her high school teacher pointed out that she would make a better accountant than an architect!).
In her role as Associate Director, Annabel helps clients resolve all types of business requirements, ranging from software and compliance issues to tax matters, and she strives to give clients both peace of mind and more time to work on their own businesses. She works in a range of industries including building, primary production and medical, as well as with individual investors and clients needing estate planning. Known for being approachable, trustworthy, and well-organised, she also serves as the HR Director at Oreon, looking after her team members’ well-being and development.
One of Annabel’s favourite aspects of her work is mentoring other team members and seeing them develop into better accountants. She also greatly enjoys developing long-term relationships with clients and their families, and she’s always proud to receive clients’ appreciation for hard work, great results and a job well done.
